Tegan And Sara At The Button Factory

I went to see Tegan And Sara at the Button Factory last night. Great set, great venue. The changes they've made to The Button Factory are not that noticeable, especially when the place is thronged, as it was last night, it's more open now and the stage is a little more accessible. The sound was great, helped by the fact that the band were really tight and rockin out. Their fans were out in force treating them like mini Elvis's. In return, they charmed us all, interspersing the tracks with some pretty hilarious stories. Great Gig!!

Brilliant gig...ever so slightly marred by some nutter only letting them get through the first song before screaming at them to take their clothes off. Sara handled it brilliantly though.

I was well impressed by the Button Factory. We decided not to brave the throngs near the stage and stand up on the steps at the back - perfect view.

Totally agree-excellent gig! Button Factory becoming one of my favs- saw Of Montreal there and now have my ideal spot next to the sound booth at the side so I'm not blocking anybody:-) Sara was great handling the knickers episode and the high school history!

Felt so embarressed for the people who were saying "take off your clothes" you could tell T&S weren't liking it and the bass player just looked shocked.
Great gig though. I put up pics from it on my myspace page if anyone is interested.

Dammit, missed the first track and the take your knickers off episode, I think there were some hormones over reacting in the room. They seemed to really dig the crowd in the end though...they both have a real quirky and smart sense of humour so I guess they will be telling an hilarious tale about the knickers incident at a gig somewhere else.....
